For the first part of our holiday trip out to California, we spent several days with Grandpa P-M and the fam at their new place in Pleasanton. Eva had a great time getting to know her aunts and uncles (she found Uncle Shayn's hair particularly fascinating) though toward the end of our time together started to feel a little competitive over possession of Aunt Sofia's toys!
Someone enjoyed her black beans a little more than was socially appropriate.

Eva was dubiously approving of Lilo (or was it Stitch?) the chinchilla.
Who loves slides? Particularly slides too windy and steep for a 12-month-old to safely enjoy?

Good catch on the slide there Cat! I didn't even know you guys made a trek out to sunny Cal! How was Eva on the flight?
