Ringing in "The Ocho"

Eva spent the last few days of her very first calendar year with Grandpa and his family, including her aunt Sofia, who found this tiny new niece to be quite fascinating. After some Boston sightseeing and snowman-building, we said goodbye, only to celebrate the start of the new year a few short hours later; Eva hit the Tufts college scene on top of the university library for the big countdown, which happened to offer excellent views of the Boston skyline and the city's fireworks display over Boston Harbor.

A friendly neighborhood snowman we happened across...

...And with the snowman we actually made.

Showing off her new hat, a gift from Ann, James and Lucy, in one of her spacier moments.

Hey, it looks like New Year's Eva is growing some hair in her male pattern baldness spot! I love her in her NY hat.
