It was a beautiful day in Boston, and a beautiful day for the I.'s. Eva Elizabeth was born at 10:03 am. She came out making a racket but settled down nicely after deciding that her parents seemed OK (for now). Both mother and daughter are doing wonderfully.
Eva was 6lbs, 6ozs. at birth, 20 inches long, with light brown hair. She enjoyes feeding, sleeping, and feeding. Mostly feeding. More soon!
As the title suggests, this blog is all about Eva. Since she hasn't quite mastered her typing skills yet (though she's getting speech and ambulation down cold!), this blog will mostly consist of pictures of - who else - Eva! Anything that slips in about her much less interesting parents, Jeff and Cat, is purely accidental. Enjoy!

Wow, what a precious little one. But where are the wrinkles? I swear she is absolutely gorgeous (naturally). Mom and Dad look pretty happy.

Thanks Grammy. That's a good name! Eva isn't so wrinkly, which isn't to say that she doesn't look a bit like a little old man : )
